Who is the course aimed at?
The C&G 2382 17th Edition qualification is primarily aimed at practicing electricians and others in related roles who need to demonstrate that they have a working knowledge of the IET 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). This is usually for the purposes of Design, installation and Inspect & Test. Although not essential delegates will ideally have some electrical experience or be working towards a trade qualification. The course now follows the New yellow fronted copy of BS7671 and includes the new City & Guilds 2382-15 examination.

The course runs for four days, with assessment on the fourth day . Delegates will be expected to undertake study at home during the evenings.
There are no formal entry requirements; however City and Guilds require that all candidates have a basic knowledge of electrical science. Delegates who already hold the City & Guilds 2382-12 qualification are not required to renew to the revised 2382-15 qualification
On-line 60 question multiple choice exam (copies of BS 7671:2008 may be taken into the exam).
